Ministry
History:
Lance did not seek this ministry.
In October 1991, he entered a church talent show and felt very strongly
from God that he was to memorize and present Patrick Henry's "Give Me
Liberty or Give Me Death" speech.
As a result of Lance's presentation, the Pastor asked Lance to do the July
4th service. In addition to recreating the speech, Lance presented a
message that he felt Henry would give today.
A video was made of this presentation as a gift, church members wanted to
purchase copies, it got into the hands of other Pastors who called Lance
to make the presentation at their church.
Founding Fathers Ministry, Inc. a 501c(3) corporation was born on the 4th
of July, 1992.
In January of 2005, God began speaking to
Lance that he needed to
add one other Father. This was confirmed by many Christian brothers and
sisters speaking the same message to me as well.
Lance clearly got this was to be George Washington. George
Washington and Patrick Henry were very close friends. In fact, their
wives were first cousins. Lance has subsequently found out that he is
distantly related to George Washington.
This ministry combines Lance's love for Jesus, America, History and
Acting.
Mission:
It is the mission of this ministry to wake
up the "church" and the rest of America to our freedoms which are
gradually eroding, and return America to God. Our Constitution was founded
on Godly principles. Our country's heritage is strongly Christian going
all the way back to Christopher (name means Christ bearer) Columbus.
There is an all out attack by Satan to rid America from any and all
references to God and to destroy all evidence of the Christian heritage
and foundation of this country.
This is being accomplished in large part by the ACLU and their influence
on the Judicial System.
This ministry is a "wake up" call to the
Christian community and to the "Church" that this nation can not long
survive without a return to the Godly principles upon which it was
founded.
How long will the Christian community sit silent as God is being removed
from every fabric of our society? Where is the leadership of the church in
fighting Satan as he is attempting to destroy America?
I believe God's warning to America is Rev 2:4 and 5. "But I have this
against you. You have forgotten your first love. Remember the heights from
which you have fallen. Repent and do the deeds you did at first, or else I
am coming quickly and I will remove your lamp stand from its post unless
you repent."
